I am going to start off with the information that these, for most people are splurge items. In the real skincare world these are middle range, and for a few they are considered low cost. But I have to be honest and say I find them to be a splurge. I believe most of my friends would as well. I am not saying they aren’t worth it, or that there is not reasons behind the cost but I know for some spending $80+ on one product is not doable and I do not want to be insensitive of that.

That all being said, I was uber psyched to try these! Grown Alchemist is a natural, non toxic brand from Australia.

I decided to treat myself to three products to really get the experience. Believe me there are oodles of products from them I am still lusting over and do plan to try, but a girls got to have nice skin and pay rent unfortunately so patience is my friend and I am waiting to make my next move!

I really liked them all you guys! Although I 100% have a winner winner chicken dinner and it totally surprised me which one it was!

Polishing Facial Exfoliant – Pink Grapefruit, Glucomannan Extract CA$82.00

I absolutely adored this and there were so many things working against it! Two things which are normally my no,no’s

• 1.It has physical exfoliation. I have always thought the skincare golden rule was chemical exfoliation only

• 2.The Cost. I always say and live by the attitude of spend your money on the stuff that sits on your face the longest. For me that is serums, night creams, sleeping mask.

Those things do not matter though because I love this product. I think smell alone won me over. It is earthy, hippie (in a good way), fresh and not overbearing. In fact it is because of the smell that one night in the bath I simply did not want to wash it off and because of that I realized I love this as a mask! It is so creamy with the softest little beads that feel so good as you massage them in. I would pre-wash my face with a gently cleanser then would massage this onto my face and leave it on (soak up that scent) for the rest of my bath. Then a rinse.

It leaves your skin so soft and, for a lack of a better term milky. Everything about this is wonderful! Except, honestly it is more money than I like to spend. That being said. I will buy this again.

Age-Repair Gel Masque – Pomegranate Extract, Peptide Complex CA$97.00

It is still hard for me to get into the 30’s skin skincare mindset. For so many years it was to banish shine and acne but alas I have to keep reminding myself I am, closer to 40 than 20 and my skincare needs have changed to ‘I want to look as young as possible!’ lol

This mask is lovely! It is very light and cool. It feels so nice on and I did like how my skin looked clear and clean but not dry after use. I liked the texture it left my skin. I used it 1-2 times a week and would absolutely recommend.

The thing is since I plan on using the scrub as a mask and I am completely sold on it and the scent I do not know if I will buy this again? That almost $100 price tag kinda has me saying no.

Matte Balancing Moisturizer – Acai-Berry, Borago CA$85.00

I used this as a day moisturizer mostly. Putting it on 5 min before a BB Cream, but would sometimes use it at night after serums.

It feels very thick and luxurious but it is not greasy. I found it would look a little white on (Especially after a shower if you were still a tad damp) but it would quickly absorb and no more white streaks would remain!

I really liked this but once again for the cost I wish I had chosen a serum instead and believe that is what I will do for my next order. Do not get me wrong, I really liked this cream, but I just feel like I can find a moisturizer I like as much for less money.
